About WorkSafe Sounds
Practical safety knowledge built on real-world experience — helping supervisors, employers, and JHSC members protect their workers.
Our Story
WorkSafe Sounds was created out of a simple observation: too many workplace safety resources are either buried in legal jargon or so generic they're practically useless. Supervisors, JHSC members, and employers need practical, actionable tools — not 200-page policy manuals that collect dust on a shelf.
With over 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety across construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and general industry, we've seen firsthand what works and what doesn't. We've investigated incidents, sat on joint health and safety committees and trained new supervisors, and every guide, template and court case summary we publish is written with that experience in mind.
WorkSafe Sounds brings that experience together in one place — free resources, real Ontario court case summaries, downloadable templates, and even safety-themed music to keep workplace safety top of mind.

Built From Practice

Our Approach
Practical First
Every resource is designed to be used, not just read. Templates you can download today and implement tomorrow.
Plain Language
Safety concepts explained in clear, accessible language. No unnecessary jargon or legalese.
Ontario-Focused
Content aligned with Ontario's OHSA, regulations, and enforcement practices. Real local court cases, not abstract theory.
Always Free
Core resources, guides, and templates are always free. Workplace safety knowledge shouldn't be behind a paywall.
Our Values
Worker Safety Above All
Every resource we create starts with one question: will this help protect workers? If the answer isn't a clear yes, it doesn't make the cut.
Honesty & Transparency
We present court cases and safety information accurately. We're clear about what constitutes legal advice (and what doesn't).
Accessibility
Safety knowledge should be available to everyone. We keep our resources free, our language clear, and our website accessible.
Continuous Improvement
Just like a good safety program, we're always looking to improve. New resources, updated case law, and better tools — we keep building.
Start With the Resources
